I Gotta Tell Some Food About This

Huevos Rancheros from High Land Nursery in Loomis California. I wanted to eat the whole menu.  

“Blake, you just have to have goals. That’s the whole secret of obtaining success in life. Just put it up on your Pinterest board, write it down. Commit, commit and you will see the success just come your way”.  What is this? The Secret?  I thought I was here for the yearly how-are-you bishop's interview.

The goal in life is not success. It is about eating. Don’t care if that’s what seven habits, highly functioning I’m-better-than-you book said. Even Oprah has said so. I live to eat. I could win the Pulitzer prize and my first thought after that phone call,would be I gotta tell some food about this.  

I once went to a buffet once, just stuffed myself something awful and as I was groaning in the car the people I were with was like you want to go get a doughnut? The words out of my mouth were yeah. I could eat.

True story.

That’s why as I sit here in this lecture from a very well-meaning individual I am currently thinking of what I'm going to have for lunch. Oh lunch. I miss lunch. Is this going to end? My vision? Right now is eating. I’m so tempted to raise my hand and go can I be excused? My stomach is really hungry.
