Thankful

Today I will be thankful.

I will share my gratitude.

With those I see.

I will be thankful for a chance to be able see.

and somewhat hear.

Thankful am I.

for family, friends and hearth.

Thankful for life that blooms and life that is lived long.

Blessed am I?

I will never tell.

This will be my small hymn of grateful praise.
